Guys, I love Ben the apothecary. He’s basically my new favorite character! I had as much fun designing, writing and drawing him as I did with the mermaids. I hope all you readers like his as well as I do!

You know I’m going to love the flowing script and symbols. And the old man, of course.
Oh man, that script was a little bit of a pain in the butt! The symbols do actually correspond to phonetic sounds, but I struggled to actually write it, LOL!
Of course those symbols corresond to phonetic sounds… BECAUSE YOU’RE AWESOME!
Seriously, though, how cool is that?! I love Ben; he’s just the right amount of scrappy and teddy bear.
